My name is Vijay and our 2 Villas are managed by Premier Vacation Homes.
It is unfortunate that Premier have had to close their operations. They have been an efficient and reliable management company and have managed our homes for the last 3 years. I would just like to thank them for their services and wish them well for the future.
I am creating this post for anyone who would like to share their thoughts and research results about finding a new management company.
There are lots of management companies that would love to have our business. I think spending bit of time sharing information with other owners will benefit all of us.
I am sure you have all received details from other Management companies already, as they have all got hold of our email addresses.
In our case we do most of our bookings ourselves so I am looking for a management company that only have to look after our homes and charges for offering just this service. I have so far found 2 companies doing exactly what we want. Here are their details.
Company 1 - Ankon Rentals
Contact name - Rob & Glenda - UK couple running a small management company (about 22 homes). Rob does all the pool, grass & maintenance. His wife Glenda does the cleaning with the help of others. They also take bookings.

Management charge - $300 per month (includes weekly pool maintenance, indoor & outdoor pest control, lawn care, paying bills, guest check in & out)
No charge for owner making a booking (Premier charges $25)
Company 2 - P V Management
Contact name - Dave & Karen - UK couple running a small company (26 homes) Dave does the maintenance & Karen does the cleaning

No charge for owner making a booking (Premier charges $25)
This company does not take any bookings so all the bookings will have to come from the owner. They are very good at looking after the homes but take no bookings.
Company 3 - Florida - Scandi
I had a chat with Marion and also with Joe. I am sure you have all received their management details. They seem to be very busy at the moment.
Looks like they have contracts with travel agents so will be able to fill some weeks in our homes but don't know at what price.
I have also received management details from others (Contempo Florida Holidays, Just Villas & Integrity) - They are all standard stuff.

Utility bills - Hope you all had a chance to phone your utility companies to check the payments. I phoned some of them last night. Premier has made payment to them in last week of January 2010 for our homes so I only needed to pay for February. This may not be the case for everyone so please give a call to your utility companies and check the status. Lillian has sent an email with all the phone numbers. If you haven't received them, then email me so I can forward the email to you.

The following picture was taken on 22 Feb 5.30pm by our new Management company person. He said that all the lights are on and there is someone inside and everything looks normal. There is no close down or lease sign.
